RNIB - See differently

Is your MS all aboard for bus accessibility?

Blind and partially sighted people face barriers at every stage of a bus journey. The Bus Services (Wales) Bill is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to fix this. Ask your MS to make bus services truly accessible.

Only one in 10 blind and partially sighted people in Wales can make all the bus journeys they want or need by bus.

RNIB Cymru’s bus report ‘All Aboard?’ shows how bus travel is a lifeline for many blind and partially sighted people. But poor infrastructure, inaccessible information, and inconsistent support make journeys difficult or impossible. We’re calling for the entire end-to-end bus journey to be redesigned with accessibility in mind. We want to see accessible journey planning tools, inclusively designed bus infrastructure, improved driver training and reliable on-board accessibility features.
